Materials: Dry sand (in paper cups or small containers), white glue, paper or cardboard, newspaper, pencil, crayons.
Process:
- Use pencil to draw a design or picture lightly on the paper.
- Apply a bead of glue to the pencil lines.
- Sprinkle sand gently over wet glue.
- Tilt the paper up so that the extra sand falls off the paper onto an open sheet of newspaper.
- Let dry.
- Use crayons to add other details or color to the sand painting.
