Cardboard City

Materials: Cardboard cut into assorted rectangles, triangles, squares, large cardboard rectangle or square, heavy scissors, white glue, tempera paints, paintbrushes, water and rags.Process:

  1. Place large piece of cardboard on a flat surface.
  2. Glue smaller pieces of cardboard on top of large piece to form skyscrapers, houses and towers. Overlap buildings, and place smaller buildings on top of larger ones.
  3. Let dry.
  4. Paint cardboard city in a colorful way.
  5. Let dry and display.

Variations: Make an ocean scene, country scene. Paint the background dark blue and the buildings black and grey for a night scene. Add glitter stars and a foil moon.
